Jo Crook, Manager of Hollyhurst care home in Darlington, has been named as a finalist at a national awards. Jo is in the running for ‘Care Home Manager of the Year’ at the National Care Awards.
These awards celebrate the very best people in the care sector, highlighting excellence and rewarding those who work tirelessly to provide consistently outstanding care.
Hollyhurst supports adults who are living with a learning disability and complex needs, as well as mental or physical health needs. The care home was rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission earlier this year.
Sharena Record, our Divisional Managing Director for the Central Division, said: “I am delighted that Jo has been recognised for the fantastic work she does leading the team at Hollyhurst.
“The team puts the people they support at the centre of everything they do and this is reflected both in the well-deserved award nomination and in the recent CQC report. I am very proud to work with such inspiring people.”
