  • Christmas Card 1The annual Danshell Christmas Card competition has seen over 120 cards flying in to the York Central Support Office, filling the place with glitter and colour. Service user representatives from around the country came to York to help with our jolly judging day, dressed in their best Christmas jumpers.

    The care home received the ‘Putting People First Award’ at the East Midlands regional Great British Care Awards, and will now go on to represent their region at the national final in February next year.

The staff worked together with the service users to hear their views on their person centred care, what activities they would like to do, and what they would like changing about their service.
