Emergency Admissions

At Danshell we’re experienced in dealing with emergency referrals and manage them quickly and efficiently to ensure the transition for the service user is as smooth as possible.  An initial desk top assessment will be completed to assess the suitability of admission to our services and verbal feedback will be given as soon as possible. A full care plan will be sent within 7 days of admission.

Our Referrals Process in Detail

A referral can be made by telephone, email, on-line fast contact form located to the left, or via a safe haven fax to the referral manager or regional relationship managers who will then liaise with the clinical team to determine suitability of your referral.  Assessments are free for all suitable referrals made to us and we will respond to your referral as soon as possible. 

Assessments are arranged depending on the timeframe suited to the service user and referrer. We are able to accept referrals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Emergency referrals can be arranged immediately by telephoning the referrals line 020 7487 0067. In most cases admission can be quickly facilitated and we can assist with transferring the service user if required. If the admission is not an emergency, we follow an individualised timeframe, depending on the wishes of the commissioner, service user and the urgency of the case. We can work to the scale that you need to.

Assessment report, cost and a treatment plan will be sent to you from the Referrals Team.

Visitations are available to our services at any time during the referral process, depending on individual need and preference.
